British students have balls.
Heu, pardon.

A suivre. :merci: :merci:

11 11 2010
A POLICE chief admitted last night that he was caught off guard by the mayhem that erupted after thugs hijacked a demo of 50,000 students.
Stick-wielding Leftie yobs, many with their faces hidden by scarves, stormed Tory Party HQ in London yesterday as outnumbered cops stood helplessly by.
But, despite recent warnings that Government cut-backs could spark unrest, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson said: "We didn't expect this level of violence."
In a grovelling apology, he added: "It's not acceptable. It's an embarrassment for London and for us. I am determined to have a thorough investigation into this matter."
A mob of around 300 had caused damage estimated at £1million to Millbank Tower in central London before officers regained control.
Police had adopted "softly, softly" methods after newspaper vendor Ian Tomlinson died when pushed over by an officer at 2009's G20 protests.
At first just 20 police were lining the route at Millbank yesterday. It was two hours before riot cops reached the scene. At one point officers resorted to issuing warnings on website TWITTER that rioters faced arrest. Tory chairman Baroness Warsi and around 80 staff including a pregnant woman were trapped inside the building.
Police sources said the planned protest by students and lecturers over education cuts and tuition fees of up to £9,000 was hijacked by known anarchists.
At least one veteran member of the anarchist group Class War was spotted as trouble erupted at around 1.45pm.
A crowd of 2,000 gathered outside Millbank Tower.
A large fire was lit in the street and within minutes, smoke bombs, metal poles, sticks, missiles and eggs were being thrown.
Graffiti was sprayed on walls, including "F*** them", "Tory pig" and F*** Cameron". One bare-chested yob with "Tory scum" written on his back was cheered.
Some students were seen wearing helmets knocked off the heads of police officers.
After rioters broke into the smoke-filled building, furniture including a black leather sofa was dumped in the street. Chairs were thrown at the windows, ceiling panels and wires were ripped off and heavy plant pots were thrown.
Heavy plate glass windows were smashed and around 75 protesters got on to a roof where they screamed: "Tory pigs".
They hurled lumps of concrete and even a fire extinguisher at officers below.
A policewoman was seen bleeding from a head wound. Thugs hurled sticks at her as she was led away.
Two officers had face wounds dressed with duct tape as they faced a baying crowd. Five more were hurt and 14 people in all were taken to hospital.
A Tory source told The Sun: "Some demonstrators managed to get up to the third-floor stairwell, and started kicking in the door. They were squirting stuff into the foyer from a fire extinguisher.
"We could hear them running up the fire stairs to the roof. If they had opened the door, they would have been in our offices.

"It was a pretty hairy situation. But everyone was pretty stoic. We were making cups of tea." Shortly after 5pm police had confined a few hundred protesters to the courtyard. And by 6.30pm the building was cleared.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said 35 people were arrested for a range of offences, including criminal damage and trespass. He said 225 officers were initially covering the protest but trouble had not been expected. Reserves were drafted in throughout the day.
Shocked ex-Flying Squad commander John O'Connor said: "If police intelligence can't work out what the likely scenario might be at a protest like this, they haven't done their job properly. It's an appalling lapse.
"There's an intelligence failing. We all expect students to demonstrate and we know these protests are infiltrated by anarchist groups.
"If they can't respond to it in today's climate then they're unprofessional. It's a total failing on behalf of the Commissioner and the Metropolitan Police."
Labour MP Khalid Mahmood said: "What happened was an absolute disgrace. The police really should have seen this coming."
A Tory spokesman said that all its staff were safe. Baroness Warsi said: "People had a legitimate right to protest an issue they felt very strongly about. It's a shame that a small minority of those protesters ruined it."
London Mayor Boris Johnson wrote on Twitter: "Appalling abuse of the right to protest by a small minority. Intolerable. They will face the full force of the law."
Peter Smyth, of the Police Federation's London branch, said: "Once again, Metropolitan Police officers stand between violent protesters, innocent members of the public and property - while under attack and facing extreme provocation.
"The officers have shown great restraint and professionalism."
NUS president Aaron Porter described the violence, which he believed was pre-planned, as "despicable".
He said: "We had talked about the need to behave in a responsible way. Unfortunately a minority have undermined us."
One of the reasons for a massive hike in tuition fees was to ease degree costs for FOREIGN students, PM David Cameron said yesterday during a visit to Beijing, China.
The admission will provoke fury among many of Britain's students.

Comment ?

...and ballen! :désolé1:
:pendu:
